This weeks coordinator is

Jill Elborn

Since I retired 5 years ago I enjoy socialising and seeing more of my friends. I am quite heavily involved with my Church activities- including cleaning it every week! I love to make myself useful and trying to help other people where possible.

Our coordinators work on a flexible rota of 2 weeks out of every 10. They work from their own homes, all equipment is provided and expenses are reimbursed.

They phone the doctor’s surgeries daily collecting the names and phone numbers of any one who wants to travel with us. They arrange a driver for each journey, and phone back the patient with the driver’s details.

This typically takes one hour per day, though if things are busy it can take up to 2 hours.
