The Driving Force takes anyone who has cancer and is registered with a GP in Bonnybridge, Denny or Banknock to hospital appointments for FREE.

This weeks coordinator is

Stephen Grant

I am retired and live locally in Dennyloanhead. I enjoy travelling and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy socialising, golf, bowling and most other sports.

Our coordinators work on a flexible rota of 2 weeks out of every 10. They work from their own homes, all equipment is provided and expenses are reimbursed.

They phone the doctor’s surgeries daily collecting the names and phone numbers of any one who wants to travel with us. They arrange a driver for each journey, and phone back the patient with the driver’s details.

This typically takes one hour per day, though if things are busy it can take up to 2 hours.
